1950 Humanic starts manufacturing ski boots.
1965 The first ski boots with buckles are launched on the market.
1973 Franz Klammer wins the downhill race at Planai/Schladming in Dynafit boots.
1976 Franz Klammer wins the Olympic men’s downhill in
Innsbruck. Unprecedented success sees the downhill World Cup go to
skiers on Dynafit eight times in succession: 1974-75 to 1982-83.
1980 Leonhard Stock is the Olympic gold medallist. Dynafit is granted permission to use the Austrian coat of arms.
1981 The successful Dynafit World Cup Competition model is
the first ski boot in the world to be awarded the IAS’s Golden Seal of
Approval.
1983 Dynafit presents the Tourlite, a completely new design and the lightest ski/climbing boot in the world.
1985 / 86 Dynafit brings out the CDE collection (rear entry),
which is the first and only Alpine ski boot at the time with Gore-Tex
Thermo Dry.
1990 Dynafit presents the Tourlite Tech boot/binding
combination. A sensation - the lightest safety binding in the world for
ski touring is lighter than any other comparable binding on the market.
1991 Dynafit is taken over by Raichle Sport Holding AG, CH-8280 Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.
1996 On January 1, 1996 Dynafit GmbH is established with headquarters at Molln, Austria.
Dynafit returns to Austria.
1998 Production of ski boots is discontinued.
2001 Dynafit becomes part of Salzer Holding GmbH, the parent
company of the Salzer-Ueberreuter-Economos Group. It is a family
business that originally focused on printing, publishing and paper, and since the Seventies has also been processing plastics.
2002 Dynafit Skischuh GmbH changes its name to Dynafit Sports GmbH.
Dynafit starts selling ABS avalanche airbag rucksacks worldwide.
2003 Dynafit goes Salewa! Since February 2003 Dynafit is a member of the Salewa Group.
2004 Ski mountaineering athletes are the ones that determine the development and structure of the DYNAFIT brand, and the
new (specialist) skis D612 and D914 as well as the new "Speedskin-Fix" skin-stretching system represent the outcome of this close market collaboration.
2005 Dynafit becomes a Snow Leopard. The new logo is introduced.
Dynafit grows through diversification (apparel and accessories).
In August, Dynafit Team members Beni Böhm und Basti Haag succeed in their speed record on Mustagh Ata 7545m (10:41h ascent and ski descent).
2006 Further diversification - TLT Vertical binding is introduced into the market.
In July/August the Dynafit Team succeeds on Gasherbrum II 8035m in speed ascent and following ski descent.
2007 In April the North American Office opens in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
The new ZZero boot line is introduced successfully.
The Dynafit Team approaches Manaslu 8163m, but has to reverse shortly below summit due to bad weather conditions.
Dynafit commits itself to the protection of Snow Leopard and therefore cooperates with Snow Leopard Trust.
2008 Dynafit reaches a 75% increase in turnover despite a worldwide crisis.
The subsidiary in Poland is opened.
The Dynafit Women Team succeeds in their project: Chamonix-Zermatt-Alagna (140km, 10.000 meters altitude) in 3 days only - Haute Route Plus.
