What is the Lifetime Guarantee?

The DYNAFIT Lifetime Guarantee is our quality and sustainability promise for all end consumers. Every DYNAFIT product comes with a legally required guarantee of two years. During this time, the brand covers all costs for repair, replacement, or refurbishment. If a product is registered online within 12 months of purchase, DYNAFIT extends that warranty for free repairs or replacement an additional 3 years, for a total of five years. After expiration of this period, DYNAFIT since Oct. 1, 2023, has offered an additional five-year guarantee on its products. In this case, end consumers must then cover the costs of repairs themselves. If the product is not registered within the first 12 months after purchase, then the legally required two-year guarantee including coverage of costs by DYNAFIT is valid. At the end of that period, DYNAFIT will now offer an additional eight-year “Care & Repair” guarantee. In this case, however, end consumers must then cover the costs themselves.

If you seek challenges on the mountain, you need a so-called partner in crime that you know from experience you can rely on 100 percent. Even more important than the emotional connection to a product is the long-term use of gear and apparel to protect the environment and resources. DYNAFIT recognizes that “the most sustainable product is the one you have.” With the extended Lifetime Guarantee DYNAFIT is actively demonstrating its belief in protecting the outdoors and our resources. “We are proud of the quality and long-lasting durability of all our products. That’s why we guarantee repairs for the entire product lifecycle,” says DYNAFIT managing director Benedikt Böhm. “The implementation of a Lifetime Guarantee is the biggest challenge in the history of the company. We have taken it on – for our environment and the conversation of its resources.”

DYNAFIT guarantees end consumers that products will perform for 10 years just as they performed on the first day. Benefits:

How and where will end consumers be informed about the Lifetime Guarantee?

In the store:

• In all display windows, focus points, and highlight areas end consumers will find a visible Lifetime Guarantee logo. Depending on purpose, additional information about the Lifetime Guarantee will be made available. With corresponding POS tools – for example, on store shelves – end consumers can also find out more about the benefits of the Lifetime Guarantee and how it will work where products directly are.

• On every article that is included in the Lifetime Guarantee, one will find not only the logo but also a QR code for the Lifetime Guarantee landing page on the DYNAFIT website. There, end consumers will find all the details about the Lifetime Guarantee as well as a link to the registration page. Note: In the coming months it may happen that the Lifetime Guarantee communication is not yet visible on all DYNAFIT products, although the new regulations already apply to these items.

 

Digitally:

• The Lifetime Guarantee logo will be incorporated into all digital communication channels.

• On the DYNAFIT website there is a separate landing page about the topic where end consumers can find out more and can click through to the FAQ.

• Dealers also have the opportunity to integrate on their website their own landing page for end consumers about the Lifetime Guarantee. All available assets for this are in the download area on the DYNAFIT website.

What precisely does “Lifetime” mean? 

The Lifetime Guarantee refers to the lifecycle of a product – not the life of the purchaser. That lifecycle is 10 years.
